Understanding the Biblical Feasts — Yahuah's Appointed Times

Many believers are unfamiliar with the Biblical feasts, yet Yahuah calls them 'My feasts' and 'My appointed times' (moedim). They are not merely Jewish holidays — they are Yahuah's calendar for all His people.

The Spring Feasts (Fulfilled by Yahusha's First Coming):

Pesach (Passover) — Yahusha was crucified on Passover as the Lamb of Yahuah. Just as the lamb's blood in Egypt saved the firstborn, His blood saves us from death.

Chag HaMatzot (Unleavened Bread) — Yahusha was buried during this feast. He is the sinless (unleavened) bread placed in the earth.

Yom HaBikkurim (Firstfruits) — Yahusha rose from the dead on Firstfruits. He is the firstfruits of the resurrection harvest.

Shavuot (Pentecost) — The Ruach HaQodesh was poured out on Shavuot, just as the Torah was given at Sinai on the same day.

The Fall Feasts (Awaiting Fulfillment):

Yom Teruah (Trumpets) — Many believe this points to Yahusha's return, announced by the great shofar blast.

Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) — The day when all Israel will recognize Yahusha as their Mashiach.

Sukkot (Tabernacles) — The ultimate fulfillment: Yahuah dwelling with His people forever in the new heaven and new earth.
