Improving your typing speed doesn't have to be boring. By combining typing practice with Bible study, you can develop both your technical skills and spiritual life simultaneously.
The key to improving typing speed is consistent, focused practice. Here's our recommended approach:
Week 1-2: Foundation (Target: 30-40 WPM) Start with shorter verses like Psalm 119:105 and Hebrews 11:1. Focus on accuracy over speed. Use our Verse Completion mode to build familiarity.
Week 3-4: Building Speed (Target: 40-55 WPM) Move to medium-length verses. Try the Timed mode with 60-second intervals. Track your progress on the dashboard.
Week 5-8: Advanced Practice (Target: 55-70+ WPM) Tackle longer passages like Psalm 23 or 1 Corinthians 13. Use the Meditation mode for sustained typing practice.
Remember: accuracy always comes first. A typist who types 50 WPM with 98% accuracy is more effective than one who types 70 WPM with 85% accuracy.
Why Hebrew Names Matter in Your Practice
As you type, you'll notice we use the Hebrew names Yahuah (the Father) and Yahusha HaMashiach (the Son). Typing these names repeatedly builds familiarity with the original Hebrew names found in Scripture — turning typing practice into a deeper learning experience.
