Psalm 46:10

“Be still, and know that I am Yahuah; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Understanding This Verse

This psalm was written during a time of great upheaval — possibly war or natural disaster. The command to 'be still' (raphah in Hebrew) means to let go, to cease striving. It is Yahuah declaring His sovereignty over all chaos.

Reflection

What noise or striving do you need to release today? What would it look like to truly be still before Yahuah?
