Exodus 20:2-3

“I am Yahuah your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other elohim before Me.”

Understanding This Verse

The first of the Ten Commandments. Before giving any law, Yahuah identifies Himself as the deliverer — the One who freed Israel from slavery. Obedience flows from relationship, not religion.
