Ephesians 2:8-9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of Yahuah, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Understanding This Verse

Paul makes clear that salvation is entirely a gift from Yahuah — not earned by human effort. Grace (chen in Hebrew) is unmerited favor. Faith itself is a gift, given so that no one can claim credit for their own rescue.

Reflection

Do you truly believe salvation is a gift, or do you still try to earn Yahuah's approval through works? What does resting in grace look like for you?
