Daniel 3:17-18

“If that is the case, our Elohim whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your elohim, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

Understanding This Verse

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego faced the fiery furnace for refusing to bow to Nebuchadnezzar's idol. Their faith was not conditional — 'but if not' shows they trusted Yahuah regardless of the outcome.

Reflection

Do you have 'but if not' faith? Can you trust Yahuah even if He doesn't deliver you the way you expect?
